Uniting Church hall Campbell Street Rockhampton
Cost $3.00 per person |
|
Loraine
Whitefield accredited instructor (pictured) holds Gentle
Exercise and Strong Bones Class every Monday morning commencing at
8.45am. The two different techniques explained below are combined
into one class. |
The Strong Bones class is delivered with hand held weights with the
necessary exercises to achieve strength gains. These exercises will
improve bone density and prevent bone fractures. You can replace muscle
tissue you’ve already lost regardless of age. The effects of
weight bearing exercise is seen as one of the major strategies in
the prevention and management of osteoporosis.
Gentle Exercise is delivered with exercise for the whole of the body
in movement to music. With this type of exercise people usually start
to feel an increased sense of wellbeing and increased energy. Exercising
is not the only benefit, it also strengthens friendships as well
